The Ideco Group has successfully integrated Legic smartcard technology with Sagem MorphoAccess fingerprint readers. IMLI (Ideco-MorphoAcess-Legic Integration) allows fingerprint templates to be stored on a Legic smartcard along with other demographic data. In operation, a card-holder presents their card and then places their finger on the MorphoAcess reader for verification. The matching process involves a comparison between the presented finger and the stored template. IMLI further enhances the high levels of security inherent in Legic technology across the full range of Legic's applications.
