The WWAT-LAN interface module provides Ethernet connectivity to the WWAT-488 module. The WWAT-LAN unit can easily be connected to either wired Ethernet (CAT 5 cable) or wireless wide area networks (WAN). WWAT-LAN supports 10 Mb/s and 100 Mb/s Ethernet and contains a built-in TCP/IP stack, which allows for either TCP or UDP connectivity. It also supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), essential for the remote node monitoring in LAN and WAN applications.
