The Trojan was specifically designed for installation in delivery trucks to facilitate on board cash protection for driver/sales operations within a cash-on-delivery environment.
The Trojan drop box accepts coins, bank notes and paper-based mediums of exchange to be dropped by the driver as required. It is electronically locked into the make-safe sleeve and can only be removed under supervision at, for example, a depot. The Trojan is equipped with liquid dye banknote staining technology that meets the SA Reserve Bank's requirements. The intelligent box can perform the function of a cross-pavement-carrier. The Trojan is automatically armed if illegally removed from the sleeve.
