At the core of Wavetrend's Active RFID technology is an open platform architecture which is highly scalable and simple to integrate. ULR active RFID tags are used to track people and assets across small and large areas and are available in a number of form-factors suited to a variety of applications in the mining, government, healthcare, aerospace, logistics, transport and corporate environments. The addition of sensors to detect, for example, vibration or changes in temperature, enables assets to communicate their realtime location and condition using secure transmission protocols for maximum security. Reader technology offers the option of RS232, Ethernet and Wi-Fi communication protocols.
