The Johannesburg Branch of the Businesswomen's Association (BWA) announced at the Regional Business Achiever Awards ceremony held in July, that Michelle de Villiers, founder partner of Maxi Phumelela Security, won the Entrepreneur Category.
The Awards recognise outstanding South African businesswomen for their valuable contribution to the South African economy. Nominees are assessed in terms of the following criteria: entrepreneurial spirit, marketing flair, innovation, turnover, profit, employment creation, social responsibility and the development of employee skills.
"Every client has different needs, so our equipment and solutions are designed to be flexible and will be adapted to suit your specific requirements," adds De Villiers.
The Awards were introduced by the BWA to recognise the calibre of self-employed and professional South African businesswomen on a regional level.
