The Axis 212 PTZ IP video network camera incorporates a high quality, three mega pixel sensor and a wide-angle lens that provides digital pan and zoom, allowing users to instantly zoom in on areas of interest. It is designed to provide comprehensive cover over approximately 150 square metres.
Simultaneous Motion JPEG and MPEG-4 compression are provided to optimise image quality and bandwidth use. It also features two-way audio, including a built-in microphone, and Power over Ethernet to run data and power over a single cable and reduce cabling installation costs.
The camera has pre- and post-alarm image buffering, video motion detection, and scheduled and triggered events with alarm notification.
