Primary Image (Vision Systems) has joined forces with CCTV equipment manufacturer Silvermines Security to produce a revolutionary new CCTV tracking system. VideoTracker, Primary Image's outdoor video motion detector is to be combined with Silvermines' Videmech 555RX pan tilt unit, to automatically track moving objects within the camera's field of view.
Initial demonstrations and concept tests have already been successfully completed, and at a meeting held in April, the two companies formally agreed a joint venture, which will finalise the systems' development. Video footage from the trials was on display at the Silvermines Security stand at IFSEC, together with a working model of the system.
Primary Image (Vision Systems) Managing Director, Geoff Thiel, commented: "Previous trials and test marketing of this system has generated an incredible amount of interest from installers and end-users alike. State-of-the-art technology from Silvermines Security, coupled with VideoTracker's proven technology, will offer the consumer a unique product to improve CCTV management."
