The E-CCase is a mobile digital video recording system designed to provide a mobile recording system for covert video surveillance. It features one or four video channels, an 8" TFT LCD and an embedded digital video recorder with a 250 GB HDD. The system is housed in a weatherproof ABS case and provides the user with a complete recording and monitoring system for surveillance operations in many situations.
Featuring one or four wireless video channels, the system is compatible with E-240600 and E-240800 wireless transmitters. The system comes included with 6 dBi omni-directional antennas. Users can also disable any of the channels and hard-wire cameras to the unit's BNC connectors.
The integrated recorder allows the video channels to be viewed in single or quad mode. It also allows the four video channels to be recorded simultaneously. Video recording is activated by motion detection, via a schedule or through an alarm input. Playback is simple with a jog-shuttle and adjustable video speeds.
With a high-resolution 8" TFT LCD display, the user can monitor the system from the integrated monitor or via a looping video output connector. The video output can also be used to backup video to a standard VCR during playback.
The E-CCase can be connected to a TCP/IP network via its 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. Through this, the wired or wireless video channels can be monitored over the network. A software video client is included with the system. With the software, the user can playback recorded video, as well as convert video to standard AVI clips or JPEG images. A typical application for the network function is when the system is used inside an office that has a TCP/IP infrastructure. The E-CCase can be set up and then monitored in a different part of the building via the network.
