The Safety and Security Sector Education and Training Authority (SASSETA) has appealed to training providers to ensure that their accreditation status is still active. When the accreditation/registration status of a provider lapses, that provider loses accreditation. No training and assessment will be accepted after the status has lapsed and this will affect all learner achievements sent to the SETA.
SASSETA encourages members to be proactive in ensuring that the SETA is notified at least three months prior to the date of the lapse/expiry and at the same time companies can ask for an extension or an upgrade.
