Dehn's Blitzductor CT lightning current surge arresters are pluggable surge protection devices for DIN rail mounting. The modular two-pole devices are designed to give maximum protection for control circuits, instrumentation, alarm and telecommunication systems.
Easily installed and maintained, the Blitzductor CT devices provide maximum safety due to their extremely low protection levels. The coordinated arresters can be used as lightning current arresters, combined arresters or surge arresters by simply plugging into the base module.
The units are designed to withstand direct lightning surge currents of up to 5 kA (10/350) and clamp the voltage to acceptable levels. The protective circuit is integrated in the arrester module only and not in the base part allowing disconnection and removal of all relevant components in the cable run for testing without signal interruption.
A wide range of accessories includes a test/disconnection plug, gas discharge tube, an earth terminal set and EMC spring terminals, making the Blitzductor CT a highly versatile device.
