Systems Technologies has forged a relationship with Inside Technologies, a company founded in 1995 with the goal of developing innovative silicon chips for the contactless smartcard and electronic identification markets.
According to Systems Technologies Dave Wailer, Sales & Marketing Director, Inside has focused from the outset on making contactless technology easier to use and accepted as the first choice for system integrators. Says Wailer, "In order to achieve this it has placed a high priority on the development of system components that can be easily integrated and comply to industry standards and quality."
Says Jacek Kowalski, President and CEO of Inside Technologies, "We are convinced that the future belongs to contactless technology. Our product strategy, development effort and focus are all reflected in this belief, resulting in an offer that will allow our customers to gain a competitive advantage in their markets by the rapid development of leading edge contactless applications."
PicoTag , from Inside Technologies, is used for long distance tagging of assets. Boasting a 1 m reading range and full read/write capability, the device offers storage of up to 26 kbits, operates on 13,56 MHz, is ISO 15693 compliant, claims data retention of up to 10 years and incorporates 32 bit signature/32 bit CRC for write security with cryptographic authentication. The tags also incorporate anti-collision so that multiple tags can read simultaneously. Packaging options are available to suit clients' requirements and environments.
Says Wailer, "Systems Technologies is seeking to forge partnerships with integrators and end users to offer this technology."
