New independent standard for asset identification

December 2000 Access Control & Identity Management

The SPD-2500 from Samsung is a colour dome camera with 680 000 pixels built-in pan, tilt and zoom functions. The SPD-2500 has an added ICR (infrared cut filter removable) function and is able to convert the image from colour to monochrome automatically in low light.

Other features include:

* 360° panning and 90° tilting.

* Continuous auto focus, 64 preset position.

* Back light compensation.

* Pan/tilt variable speed.

* Built-in OSD function.
