Holland-based bank using SA biometrics technology

Amsterdam-based bank, Banque Artesia, is using South African company, Biometrics.co.za software, BioWeb, to provide its clients with secure access to their intranet.

After testing a number of products, Banque Artesia chose software from Biometrics.co.za and they are in the process of rolling out the application.

Banque Artesia in the Netherlands is a traditional trade bank, which aims mainly at corporate banking activities for internationally oriented ventures and private banking for high net worth private clients.

"We anticipate very large installation and the use of our software in this very important industry, where security is of paramount importance," says CEO of Biometrics.co.za, Dr Harold Kimmel.
