New monitors from Eagle

June 2004 Surveillance

The newest addition to Eagle Technology's range of CRT monitors is a high resolution 17" colour video monitor (see picture). Its flat CRT design reduces monitor glare, provides greater readability and lessens operator fatigue. Suitable for professional CCTV or video use, the E-MM-17DXA has two BNC video inputs, one S-Video input and an integrated sequential video switcher. The built-in gain amplifier allows one to loop-video through to other monitors or DVRs. An on-screen-display menu allows one full control over video settings including brightness, contrast, saturation, tint, sharpness and volume. The monitor also has two sets of audio input and an integrated audio circuit with speaker. Other features include under/over scan, AC operation and video loss detection.

Also new to the Eagle Technology range is the E-20V01 - a high quality LCD monitor for professional video, CCTV or multimedia use (see picture). These monitors are manufactured using high-end LCD panels with excellent contrast-ratio, wide viewing angle, high brightness and fast response time. All combined this makes it an ideal large format monitor for displaying full motion video. Advanced analog to digital conversion boards allow these monitors to be used with a PAL/NTSC composite source or an S-Video signal. The housing is constructed of brushed aluminium completed by chrome function keys making it suitable for the smartest of houses, the director's office or a high-tech control room. Other features include an on-screen display menu, over/under scan modes, as well as integrated AC input PSU.
