DSS introduces motion tracking high speed domes

Digital Surveillance Systems (DSS) South Africa has introduced a new range of motion tracking high speed domes and other cameras to complement all of the company's HDVR systems.

Greg Veffer of DSS says, "We have moved into the camera selling business seamlessly as it was naturally the next step for us. We now not only have the experience of networked video management systems, we have good camera knowledge as well after having managed many large projects."

The high-speed domes DSS introduced in March have the ability to follow moving objects independently of any recording systems. "In addition, they have day/night functions and high image quality because the cameras used are original Sony FCBs made by Sony Corp in Japan," Veffer adds.

The new range also includes indoor/outdoor with or without day/night and/or motion tracking functions and the best part is that the pricing is competitive with any other comparative Speed Dome available in South Africa.

Veffer says that the other cameras on offer from DSS include Starlight (ultra low light), which features full OSD functions, advanced BLC, zone masking and more; day/night and infrared cameras; and standard domes and related accessories.
