Alltech - yesterday, today and tomorrow

June 2004 Access Control & Identity Management

Vehicle control equipment manufacturers and distributors Alltech has experienced tremendous response subsequent to exhibiting at Securex. Over the last few years Alltech has grown from strength to strength and under the leadership of the owner Johan Wernich is on track to becoming a leading manufacturer and distributor of all turnstiles, which has led the company to introduce its products internationally. This proved to be a good move and enquiries have been received from all over the globe regarding Alltech's products. Wernich then took the business one step further and established Alltech UK, based in London, to ease the burden of high freight costs for foreign clients.

Due to the enormous growth, Alltech has had to acquire new premises in Village Deep Johannesburg. Being the first manufacturer of the 'Grippa Spike' barrier in South Africa, Alltech has gone on to meet the need for a high security 'blocker' with the introduction of the Alltech Surestop blocker, which has proved to be very popular and successful worldwide.

"Alltech now has an established worldwide client base with the possibility of distributorship opportunities in Eastern, Western and European countries," says Wernich. "We will not, however, allow this growth to affect our local market. This exposure can only make us more determined to always be one step ahead with the quality of our products and the competence of our management and staff."
