National security and risk management services company Group4 Falck has awarded a R200 000 services contract to Lorge, an ACCPAC financial software reseller and solutions provider.
The contract involves converting the existing financial system at the Group4 Falck Johannesburg head office and its branches in main centres countrywide from DOS-based ACCPAC Plus to the latest Windows-based ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.2.
A detailed requirement analysis is being done by Lorge to facilitate full integration of the financial systems on the Windows platform and the quick, seamless extraction of information from a single data set on a centralised database.
"We are installing a core financial system for Group4 Falck countrywide as the first phase of a longer term intention to achieve full integration of the system with operational and other management software. Benefits will include time saving, accuracy and rapid, easy access to information," says Lorge services manager Jaco Havenga.
