The New Zealand head office management of Cardax and Gallagher Security has merged to create one management team and business entity, Gallagher Security Management Systems.
Key advantages of the merger include stronger regional business planning, pooled head office technical support and training services, closer alignment for distributor/dealer management and eventually, the anticipated Trophy Interface into the Cardax FT system.
With the creation of the Gallagher Security Management Systems business, the Gallagher Security perimeter security brand has been renamed PowerFence.
CEO and Chairman of the Gallagher Group, Bill Gallagher, will lead the new entity. This enables the leaders of the previously separate business companies to focus on regional business development for both the Cardax and PowerFence systems.
Birger Kirsten is GM Security Sales for South Africa, UK, and USA, while Verne Atmore is now GM Security Sales Asia Pacific.
The merging of head office management follows the amalgamation of the Cardax and Gallagher Security business operations in South Africa, as well as the USA, and UK, where the subsidiary businesses are already sharing technical, sales and administration functions.
In South Africa, Cardax and PowerFence systems are championed by Harry Fleming (business development manager - Cardax), Ralph Niebuhr (business development manager - PowerFence) and Mike Foley (general manager).
