GE Interlogix's new StoreSafe digital video recorder's (SDVR) built-in, front-loading CD-R makes it easier and more convenient for retailers and others to quickly create evidence CDs to share with law enforcement and insurance companies.
StoreSafe captures sharp, detailed digital images with a choice of 4-, 10- and 16-camera configurations. It includes a built-in 40-, 80-, 160- or 250 GB hard disk drive, which stores days, weeks or months of high-resolution black-and-white or colour images.
The new SVDR even creates an on-demand CD that contains selected video and has a standalone QuickWave viewer so that recipients can view the clip without installing any software.
"StoreSafe features two powerful tools for retail managers and law enforcement agencies," reports Darren Nicholson, GE Interlogix Video Systems Group vice president of marketing. "At the touch of a button, StoreSafe supports on-site printing of images and a built-in CD-R for the rapid transfer of important video."
