JVC and Milestone provide intelligent surveillance solution

Independent UK software company, Milestone Systems, recently announced that its Xprotect Business product has been developed especially for use with JVC's IP-based v-network camera range, such as the VN-C10U and VN-C30U cameras. The product also supports the VN-A1U network encoder for integration with analog video cameras.

The software enables automated surveillance management with intelligent digital image handling, for improved security and cost effectiveness. This solution supports up to 64 connected cameras per server, and provides remote access to recordings and cameras through an inclusive Web server.

The Xprotect Business solution can be tailored to suit installers' particular needs and is available in 4, 9, 16, 25 and 64 camera installations. Additionally, a site licence allows the installer to perform an unlimited number of installations.
