Wavetrend attains Advanced Business Partner status

The technology used in a software and hardware solution framework designed by a South African company - Wavetrend Technologies - to track and trace valuable assets has been recognised by IBM which has awarded it Advanced Business Partner status.

Wavetrend specialises in the research, development and sales of active radio frequency identification (RFID) hardware and software solutions for asset monitoring, tracking and management with security and logistics management applications.

The new Advanced Business Partner status comes in the wake of the recent signing of an IBM Territory Agreement, indicative of Big Blue's recognition of the security-based solutions it will be recommending to its customer base and reseller channel.
