Proactive forensic intelligence

Through its Safe City projects, AxxonSoft is assisting authorities in identifying unsolicited behaviour and potential human threats in public spaces, which includes train stations, airports, parks, stadiums and shopping centres. This is achieved through software that utilises facial recognition, forensic search and machine learning techniques to emulate how the human brain operates, even predicting and following individual’s movements.

AxxonNext uses an Artificial Neural Network for better insights about what’s happening and being recorded. The company introduced a Neural Network filter for Object Tracking that analyses moving or abandoned objects to filter out false alarms that may arise from situation analysis detection tools. The filter precisely recognises specific types of objects, e.g., humans or vehicles. To guarantee high-quality filtering, the Neural Network learns to perform customer-specific tasks from on-site recorded videos.

In addition to Object Tracker, the basic VMD (Video Motion Detection) tool now generates metadata that can be used for MomentQuest forensic search. Since the VMD requires much less computing power, you can lower the cost of your system by using more cameras per server.

Axxon Intellect is a platform for physical security information management, which can support integrated security systems of any level of complexity. With Intellect, it is possible to combine fire/security alarms, perimeter security, access control, video surveillance, audio detection and various industry-specific solutions, for example: Retail Intellect, Auto Intellect, ATM Intellect and Face Intellect. The open architecture makes it possible to integrate with other systems.

Axxonsoft’s advanced technology also picks out faces from live video feeds and automatically triggers an alarm when it determines degrees of similarity. This type of surveillance and security system takes a very proactive approach in addressing trafficking, which has previously been very reactive in nature. Through Axxonsoft’s forensic video search, authorities can instantly check data, based on the criteria they are looking for, such as finding all the blue cars that crossed a certain line heading in a certain direction. As a result, what would have taken hours to sift through is reduced to just a few seconds, enabling an efficient and effective reaction to the situation whereas standard video data often alerts authorities after illicit activity has taken place.
