SASEETA office is relocating

August 2012 News & Events

The Safety and Security SETA (SASSETA) is relocating its Johannesburg office from Gallagher Estate to Riverview Office Park, Janadel Avenue, Halfway Gardens, Midrand at the end of August 2012.

Only a few kilometres away from Gallagher Convention Centre, the relocation offers numerous benefits to both the SETA itself as well as its stakeholders. SASSETA will be able to consolidate all employees under one roof, as opposed to operating in two separate buildings as has been the case at its current premises and therefore better streamlining operations and building a dedicated team. Furthermore, the projected cost-savings in the long run will enable SASSETA to allocate additional monies towards opening offices in provinces as mandated by the Department of Higher Education and Training.

SASSETA’s acting chief executive officer, Ntombekhaya Qamata comments, “SASSETA’s new home will unite employees into a cohesive working unit that will improve cross-functional communication and departmental interaction”.

SASSETA’s contact details remain the same.
