Extended two-way radio communications

Residential Estate Security Handbook 2019 Security Services & Risk Management, Residential Estate (Industry), Products & Solutions

The two-way radio communication industry has been enhanced by the introduction of Halo PTT radio networks, which are GSM based, giving customers unlimited coverage and allowing for any distance to be obtained provided that cellular coverage is available.

Two-way radios form a critical communication link between security personnel and control rooms within the estate environment, providing instantaneous feedback for real-time reaction. Gone are the days when either repeaters or back-bone infrastructures were required to give you extended coverage. By simply using one of the Halo PTT radios, all that is required is a GSM SIM card inserted into the radio and this in turn will give you immediate extended coverage.

• Live GPS tracking.

• Voice recordings of all discussions between radio users.

• Individual calls or group calls.

• Stun and revive if a radio is lost or stolen.

• Geo-fencing.

• Emergency button.

• Lone worker.
