Door access controller

1 October 2016 Residential Estate (Industry), Products & Solutions

Not only does the Axxess-E access control system eliminate clutter caused by expensive cabling, but the system can also manage up to 1000 door controllers, each controlling two doors (adding up to 2000 doors in total).

The Axxess-E door controller package (AX-AXDC-01) includes a 12 V d.c. power supply and battery chargeable door controller which stores 100 000 transactions, 10 000 user IDs, can manage up to 2 doors with APB and RTE, and features four alarm inputs and two outputs.

The package also includes an RF to TCP-IP network interface (the system uses a proprietary RF protocol on the 868 MHz open channel) that acts as a repeater

to extend the range of controllers in large or multi-storey sites, in addition to a Wiegand to RF/TCP-IP interface that provides an RF data channel and power to biometric readers, effectively making Wiegand devices (like Suprema Biometrics) wireless.

The Axxess-E door controller is meant to be used in conjunction with the Axxess-E starter kit and supports up to 4 wireless card readers (2 per door for in and out).
