Residential Estate Security Handbook 2016 - Vol 2 Residential Estate (Industry)

The rising mobile app culture taking over the world has brought with it new opportunities for the security industry. Apps have allowed us to integrate traditional security monitoring solutions with new-age solutions that allow end-users to have control of aspects of their security system. The DSC PowerSeries Neo Go and RISCO iRISCO apps are examples of how the security industry has taken advantage of the smartphone revolution to improve the residential security experience.

The PowerSeries Neo Go application offers you convenience and total piece of mind, through a simple to use app giving you basic control over your PowerSeries Neo security system. Supported by both cellular and broadband connectivity via the PowerSeries Neo Communicator, PowerSeries Neo Go directly connects devices to the system without sharing personal data in the cloud, allowing users to make use of the following features: view real-time system status and zone states by partition; arm in away; stay or night mode all partitions; disarm by user; bypass zones on any partition; trigger PGM outputs on any partition and receive real-time in-app push notifications.

The iRISCO enables one to also remotely monitor and control one’s RISCO Group Security System using Wi-Fi or a 3G Android smartphone or tablet. With iRISCO one can arm/disarm the system; receive intruder alarms together with event images for visual verification of alarms; take live images; activate the home automation devices and more. To operate the app the user needs to have a registered RISCO Group LightSYS 2 or Agility 3 security system with a valid username and password.
