YLI Electronic has added lock status and door status monitoring to its extensive range of LED magnetic locks. The addition of door sensing allows the status of the lock as well as the status of the door to be monitored, even when the lock is not energised.

Monitoring the status of the door and the magnetic lock is essential in any interlocking or high security access control systems. By integrating the lock and door status monitoring inside the lock it is far more difficult to tamper with the door sensing and makes wiring the lock and door sensors easier and more cost effective. No longer will installers need to wire and mount unsightly magnetic contacts on any door fitted with the new door status monitored magnetic locks.
