Visitors to Securex 2015 will have the opportunity to see Canon’s premium portfolio of network security cameras in action. Canon, a world leader in imaging solutions, will showcase some of the latest high quality advanced network cameras, such as the VB-R11 and the VB-M740LE.
The VB-R11 Indoor Continuous 360° PTZ camera is a vandal resistant indoor PTZ with a 30x zoom lens. It is one of Canon’s Speed Dome cameras and therefore features 360continuous rotation, auto flip, intelligent auto-tracking, a 58.4° wide angle view and 450/sec high-speed precision PT control to ensure that organisations have maximum coverage of their space.
The VB-M741LE Fixed Box camera is an outdoor fixed-box camera featuring a 2.4x zoom lens and an ultra-wide 113.4° angle of view for high quality imaging day or night, making these cameras ideal for use in extremely cold and hazardous outdoor areas. The full specification model also comes equipped with a built-in IR LED that enables video streaming in zero light conditions.
Canon’s Smart Shade Control (SSC) feature will be demonstrated in a live environment showing the power of the image processor used in its range of cameras. Visitors will also have the opportunity to setup a camera using the Canon Camera Angle Setting Tool application.
Amongst the solutions that will be displayed and demonstrated at the Canon South Africa stand is a selection of video management systems (VMS) partners – Milestone Systems, Mirasys, Cathexis and Digi-IT.
