Africa is the global mining hub, being the biggest producer of precious metals it brings with it many investment opportunities towards economic growth and development. Risk is inherent to mining business which invariably is making security a key function to ensure asset protections and employee safety.

Moving forward from last year’s African Mine Security Summit, the second edition intends to look into mine security as “Duty of Care and Beyond...”.
