Hi-Tech Security Solutions in partnership with The Consumer Goods Council Risk Initiative will be hosting an invitation-only breakfast conference in Cape Town on 24 October 2014. The conference will focus on the security issues the retail industry in South Africa faces and the solutions available to address these challenges. As we near the commencement date for PoPI (The Protection of Personal Information Act), retailers will need to re-examine their storage and use of customer information to avoid non-compliance. The event will host an expert in PoPI to discuss its implications on the retail market.
