Boost revenue streams for MNOS

December 2024 News & Events, Security Services & Risk Management, Financial (Industry)

ReveNet has introduced its new solution, designed to safeguard and potentially boost revenue streams in an increasingly challenging landscape for MNOS. The new platform combines advanced analytics, industry expertise, and an operating model with a foundation built on trust, transparency, and sustainability principles.

Application to Person (A2P) SMS messaging continues to present significant revenue opportunities for MNOs. However, the value of mission-critical, high deliverability, and ubiquity that A2P SMS represents are being undermined by those within the communications ecosystem seeking to avoid paying MNOs for accessing their networks and instead, seeking alternative ‘grey’ routes. This is not just an increasing threat to MNO’s revenues but is the thin end of the wedge of the challenge to MNOs from global technology platforms as they look to exert increasing control on international communications.

Moreover, the issues are compounded by those offering firewall monetisation services, operating a ‘black box’ model with limited data shared - and even less verified – instead, opting to provide financial incentives to MNOs or volume inflation promises that threaten the very sustainability of the ecosystem, so that the MNO finds itself in a cycle of contractual breakage and re-negotiation.

During ReveNet’s market research, MNOs consistently sent the same message. One commented, “Few, if any, would declare all the traffic they bring into my network. At best, I can tell you that I am getting maybe 70% of traffic declared based on the SMS rate that I am given.”

With a focus on revenue assurance and building partnerships with unrivalled transparency, ReveNet offers MNOs a new way of working, supported by its technology platform capability and highly evolved expertise in the A2P SMS market. All of this comes with no capex or opex on behalf of the MNO, affording seamless integration with a consistent focus on enabling and assuring key MNO revenues.

In addition to providing an airtight service that prioritises security, ReveNet’s services offer peace of mind from transparent, real-time analytics delivered via its client portal. This new product allows MNOs to see and control billing, pricing, and other critical elements of their value-added services through multiple channels for maximum revenue and security benefits.

Additionally, ReveNet has been built on feedback from extensive research and real-world experience with MNOs, which extends a smooth onboarding process with no capital expenditure. Perry Offer, ReveNet CFO, commented, “We are delighted to bring ReveNet to the market and welcome new clients keen to take control of the traffic on their networks without the hassle of integrating their workflow.”

“Whether you are facing billing, pricing, or suspicious traffic challenges, we tailor our solutions to meet your unique needs and offer a reactive service. There is no grey routing, no hidden costs - just auditable transparency.”
