Anviz launched the M7 palm vein access control device, offering security, accuracy, and convenience to high-security environments like banking, data centres, and airports. The M7 uses palm vein recognition technology, offering a secure, non-invasive, and user-friendly solution.
The palm vein recognition system captures unique vein patterns using near-infrared light, ensuring precise identification. Unlike fingerprint or facial recognition, palm vein scanning is non-invasive, nearly impossible to replicate, and ideal for privacy-sensitive environments. With a False Rejection Rate of ≤0.01% and a False Acceptance Rate of ≤0.00008%, the M7 delivers accuracy and reliability.
The M7 also supports two-factor verification, combining Palm Vein recognition with RFID or a PIN for added security. Powered by PoE, it simplifies installation and power management, making it a flexible, efficient solution for any environment.
Palm vein recognition is positioned to become a key player in the growing biometric security market, projected to reach $3,37 billion by 2029. As privacy concerns and the need for hygienic, non-contact solutions increase, palm vein technology offers a balance of security and convenience.
