Jacstech, based in Cape Town, South Africa, has been appointed to supply a complete Keironnbsp;PRO laser training system to the SIRTnbsp;Academy. The SIRTnbsp;Academy is a firearms and tactics training facility in Perugia, Italy, headed by world-renowned Instructornbsp;Zero.
Jacstech manufactures the Keiron Prosumer laser targets and Keironnbsp;PRO laser target system. Keiron laser systems are used in Southnbsp;Africa, the USA, Europe, Newnbsp;Zealand and the Middlenbsp;East. Jacstech is also the official representative of SIRT and CoolFire laser training firearms and recoil systems in Southnbsp;Africa.
The Keironnbsp;PRO system supplied to the SIRT Academy allows dynamic firearm and tactical training to occur safely using laser-equipped training firearms. In addition to conventional training, the system supplied also allows for low-light training to take place using targets that respond to the training firearm’s green lasers, but block infrared aiming lasers and infrared illuminators used for low-light vision.
Keironnbsp;PRO systems are used daily worldwide for training law enforcement, competitive shooters, security firms and private citizens. In the USA, both federal and local law enforcement use Keironnbsp;PRO systems.
“The Keironnbsp;PRO is a very advanced system. With the computer timer, we are able to track everything, every shot on every target, and the precise timing, split times, transition times and so on,” says the CEO of the SIRT Academy, ‘Instructornbsp;Zero’. “Configuring the range for a specific training need is very quick.”
Jorgennbsp;Nielsen of Jacstech added, “We are excited to work with such acknowledged experts in training at the SIRT Academy. The flexibility of the Keironnbsp;PRO system to adapt to virtually any training scenario has been highlighted again. With state-of-the-art programmes and a base of highly experienced instructors, the feedback we get from the SIRT academy will inevitably lead to further product innovation within the Keironnbsp;PRO system and products.
