Paxton has appointed Werner Geldenhuys as its new Country Sales Manager for South Africa. With years of experience at Paxton and in the security industry, Geldenhuys will lead the team to continue providing smart yet simple-to-use security systems in South Africa.

Werner said, “I joined Paxton in 2013 and have seen what we have achieved in South Africa over the past ten years. It makes me excited to see what is coming for us in the next decade. I am honoured to be promoted to Country Sales Manager and to continue to be part of Paxton’s journey, providing our solutions in South Africa and helping people feel secure.”

Dan Drayton, Divisional Director – EMEA Sales Region, congratulates Geldenhuys on his promotion, “I am excited that Werner has stepped into the new role. He is well-known in the industry, and his knowledge of the market will add value to our customers and distributors.

“We are looking forward to his impact on our customers and his team and leading Paxton towards our long-term goals in the region.”

Having worked at Paxton for ten years, he is highly experienced with Paxton’s range of access control solutions and knowledgeable about the landscape of the security industry in South Africa. Geldenhuys shares his vision for Paxton’s continued growth in the market, “We want to introduce Paxton’s products to as many people as possible, making the Paxton brand a household name.”

Paxton recently opened a new Experience Centre in Johannesburg, demonstrating its range of security systems live. This shows their commitment to the market and dedication to offering smart access control, door entry, and video management solutions in South Africa.

Geldenhuys continues, “We provide free product training, a five year warranty, and licence-free software, ensuring our customers enjoy the best possible experience with our products and systems.”

Paxton and the team’s dedication in South Africa won them their first regional award last year. They were named the Outstanding Security Equipment Manufacturer at The South Africa Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) 2023.
