Link is Bas IP’s video-to-mobile subscription-based application, allowing subscribers to receive video calls from their BAS-IP gate station. The Link App includes visitor management.
The BAS-IP Link Server is locally hosted by AWS. Broader network access and reliability, thanks to fibre, has increased the reliability of the Link connection.
The call experience is much the same as that of a WhatsApp call, with the added ability to open a door from your screen.
Link provides simple solutions for older buildings. Simply install a BAS-IP multi-apartment device to replace the old outdoor station, provide internet connectivity, link the tenants’ mobiles to the server, and you have a modern, stylish video intercom. No fussing with building re-cabling.
Link also makes it possible for BAS-IP outdoor stations to call BAS-IP indoor video monitors without the devices being on the same LAN by using the ISP of the home/apartment to connect the calls.
The app is available for Android on Google Play and for Apple on the App Store.
