OPTEX will be showcasing its detectors and launching two new solutions. Firstly, for indoor detection OPTEX is to launch their new FlipX series, an indoor PIR detector with innovative pyroelectric element and, unique to OPTEX, rotatable lens. By simply removing the case and flipping the lens 180° you can change the detection area from 85° wide for covering large open spaces to just 5° for covering narrow passages or windows both in residential and commercial settings.
Secondly, OPTEX launch EchoPoint Distributed Acoustic Sensors (DAS) for advanced intrusion detection across the highest security sites. The latest evolution in fibre optic sensing technology, the new EchoPoint series uses intelligent detection algorithms to provide point detection of +/-6 m in a range of up to 100 km. OPTEX will also be demonstrating its Intelligent Visual Monitoring solution, upscaling your current security setup and giving you a cost effective visually verified solution.
