Sparks & Ellis has tailored an elegant solution to meet the criteria of the new Private Security Regulations Act and render security guard uniforms compliant.
It is now a government requirement that Private Security guards’ uniforms bear the name of the security company with visible badges stating ‘Private Security’ on the front and the back of each item of uniform clothing. The badge must be legible and not have any resemblance to that of SAPS or SANDF or any other law enforcement agency or security service.
In order to assist with the transition, Sparks & Ellis is offering an inexpensive, practical and immediate solution by manufacturing an iron-on badge which can be applied by the guard themselves. This will obviate the need to replace the garment while saving the companies huge capital expense.
