Intelligence gathering is not a new topic, people of every era used to gather intelligence using their own techniques; now the techniques have evolved and we have ‘new’ way of searching for information.
The word ‘open’ refers the publicly available sources; it has nothing to do with the open-source software. Open source intelligence (OSINT) is the process of collecting the intelligence from publicly available sources, paid or free. Craig Pedersen will present on how OSINT can be used to aid in the associated risks in the new world post COVID-19.
