Pyroshield makes European debut

Following the success in southern, western and eastern Africa, the South African designed and manufactured Halon gas extinguishing replacement system, Pyroshield, has now made its debut on the European market.

Alien Systems and Technology - the manufacture of the Pyroshield system has recently been established in the North West of England, just outside Manchester. The managing director, Paul Wright, - stated: "The establishment of a manufacturing facility in the UK at this point in time will not only allow us to benefit from legislation that requires the removal of all halon fire extinguishing systems from buildings in England, but also act as a springboard into other European and Scandinavian Countries, the Middle East and especially the North African Continent."

Jon Buckley, who is also the managing director of Pyrogen, and previously regional director of Wormald, will manage the UK operation.
