The RegardArchive unit is designed for applications in which the built-in storage capacity of the Regard server needs to be extended. The design allows for fully scalable implementation as multiple RegardArchive units on the network can be managed by a single Regard server.
The sophisticated management and query mechanism incorporated in the Regard server allows for fast retrieval of requested video clips. This operation is fully transparent to the user who does not have to keep track of the location of each specific recording.
