Aluvin Securiseal has recently launched the Nifty-Lok, a high security cable seal suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. These include electricity meters, electric equipment, cargo containers, tankers, storage trolleys as well as many others.
Aluvin managing director, Kevin Norwitz, is positive about the potential of this product because of its extraordinary strength, versatility and user friendliness. "The Nifty-Lok has a patented locking mechanism, is very easy to use and can only be removed with a pair of cable cutters," said Norwitz.
The Nifty-Lok, which is now locally manufactured under license to E.J. Brooks (USA), has a pull-apart strength of over 350 kg. It is made of cast Zamac and comes with a special nonpreformed 1,6 mm diameter galvanised steel cable in a standard 30 cm length (other lengths are available on request). The Nifty-Lok can be decorated with a company name and has a consecutive number system engraved into it enabling the easy detection of any tampering.
"It is very encouraging that through the local manufacture of seals like the Nifty-Lok, we have been able to make this kind of quality product available at cost effective prices. Also, as we continue to add Brooks' products to our locally manufactured range, we are able to add unique value to our security sealing portfolio," said Norwitz.
