Dedicated Micros has released an Ethernet-ready version of its new entry-level Digital 4 multiplex recorder. Aimed at banks and small retail outlets, the Digital 4e brings all the benefits of CCTV networking within the reach of small businesses and combines digital video multiplexing, digital recording and audio recording with all the benefits of network capability.

Installation is based on DM's trademark automatic set-up and camera detect feature. Network features include up to one month's digital recording and fast access to images over the network via any linked-up PC, via DM's network viewer software or a standard Internet browser. All network features are password protected.
