Early last year, the Bavarian Lottery (owned by the federal government of Bavaria), requested quotes for the security systems of the casinos in Bad Füssingen, Kötzing, Lindau and Feuchtwangen. Thanks to a superior bid, the order went to system integrator Tyco.
In their proposal, they specified an Ultrak Maxpro system, with all video components supplied by Ultrak Deutschland. At present, all casinos are completely and discretely covered by video surveillance. Ultrak's KD6 dome cameras blend in perfectly with the unique architecture of the casino buildings and provide clear and impressive picture quality.
A particularly strong feature was the software, the result of extensive design work by Ultrak Deutschland's American colleagues. Modification was required and this was facilitated locally by the German systems engineers team. The modification integrated the management of digital recording and analog VCRs. The result was seamless realtime recording without missing a single picture. Ultrak's patented VCR management software facilitated this requirement and presented the systems integrator with solutions that met with all the requirements of the specification from the customer.
The main focus of Tyco's engineers was to ensure maximum user-friendliness, using touch-screen monitors and on-screen panel displays. Utilising Ultrak's quality products and dedicated staff, Tyco was able to exceed customer expectations, resulting in a very satisfied customer.
