The PowerMax smart home and office control system, manufactured by Visonic serves as the sole control centre for an automated environment - controlling alarm systems, heating and cooling systems, entertainment centres, irrigation, appliances and lights on pre-programmed time schedules.

The system can also be controlled locally through the control keypad or remotely through touch-tone and mobile phones. PowerMax accommodates the needs of children, pets, the elderly or the disabled. For instance, it notifies one when children arrive home from school, initiates two-way communication and allows free access to pets without triggering false alarms.

Wristband transmitters for the elderly or disabled and activity supervision sensors, which respond to lack of movement, are key components of this home system.
