Aritech recently completed a successful road show, which commenced in Cape Town on 12 April and ended in Bloemfontein on 24 April. The other cities visited were Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, East London and Durban.
The purpose of the road show was to re-inforce the overall capabilities of Aritech in the fields of fire detection, CCTV, intrusion and access control, and to inform the market of the acquisition of Interlogix (and hence Aritech in South Africa) by General Electric as of February this year. The new business will be called GE Interlogix; and to introduce some of the new products released during the first quarter of this year.
"The success of the road show exceeded our expectations," says Brett Birch, country manager for Aritech in South Africa. "It was encouraging to see the interest shown in all the regions with in excess of 150 people putting aside valuable time to attend. I was especially pleased with the positive response of the market towards our new diversified product portfolio and the acquisition by GE.
"It is clear that the market realises the technical and commercial advantages in dealing with a single manufacturer/supplier of fire and electronic security products, especially when the company can offer leading-edge technology products and the benefits of size and scale," concluded Birch.
