Managing director of Elvey International, Andrew Stead, reports that the company has enjoyed a successful Securex 2002. "It gives us great pleasure to show the industry what world class and innovated products are all about. Of course winning the best stand award is always a treat!
Stead adds: This year Elvey International wanted to make every customer feel like a winner, we simply required a very easy catalogue registration form to be filled in and immediately the customer was issued with an exclusive hand crafted silver or bronze Elvey Security Technologies keyring and a mini catalogue presented in a DSC product bag."
Elvey International also attracted many overseas companies to its stand. "As our name implies we have a strong international customer database and also recently opened a branch in the United Kingdom. We always make a point of inviting our valued overseas customers."
Amongst a host of products available on the Elvey stand, Stead mentioned that the new Power 8 from DSC attracted attention from installers big and small. "The Power 8 is the latest in the range of power controls and is feature-rich, starting with a base of 8 zones, 8 partitions, auto arming per partition and the ability to communicate all signals via LAN or WAN using the TCP/IP card.
"Optex showed the VX40, outdoor PIR, as well as the range of active beams, bragging a 99% reduction in visibility before false alarm and Caddx's NetworX NX8E was on display showing just what a 192 zone panel can do," he added.
"Also, the new TX6000 and TX6600 from RDC were proudly displayed and received lots of interest by visitors to Securex 2002."
