2020 Residential Estate Security Conference in KZN

1 October 2019 News & Events, Residential Estate (Industry)

Hi-Tech Security Solutions will once again be taking the Residential Estate Security Conference to Durban in the first quarter of 2020. The conference will be held on 12 March 2020 at the Durban Country Club.

Drawing on our industry knowledge and experience gained through publishing Hi-Tech Security Solutions and the Residential Estate Security Handbooks, the conference will feature presentations covering the latest trends and solutions in securing residential estates. Speakers are invited by the organisers in order to ensure that we provide delegates with presentations which non-sales orientated, relevant and educational. The delegates pay to attend so sponsors are assured of marketing your offering to people who are seriously interested in the topics and solutions being presented.

The full-day event will feature presentations covering the latest trends and solutions in securing residential estates. A number of sponsors will also be on hand to highlight their solutions and services to estate managers and security/risk managers, and the relevant members of home owners’ associations.

Among the various presentations, attendees will learn how artificial intelligence can enhance security services without exorbitant cost implications, the benefits and reliability of facial recognition, how to use your network to provide value-added services to the estate and its residents (and even bring in some revenue through these services), as well as insights into service-level agreements (SLAs) and maintenance contracts designed to serve the best interests of estates.

And, of course, the conference will also address the constant need for cybersecurity. If your physical security is not cyber-secure, you are left with significant risks and vulnerabilities to the physical security solution, even the risk of losing all real-time security vision and all your data, current and historic. This is not only a PoPI problem, but an even more critical operations problem.

A limited number of sponsorships are available which provide a platform for sponsors to promote their solutions and services to estate managers, estate security/risk managers, security service providers, installers and system integrators before during and after the conference.
