Access solutions for every estate

October 2019 Access Control & Identity Management, Residential Estate (Industry)

Tim Timmins, sales director for Impro Technologies, was on hand to represent the company along with other Impro staff at the Residential Estate Security Conference. He said the conference was “a very good event with some interesting topics presented, and a good networking opportunity. Given our strong installed base within residential estates, this is a ‘must-attend’ event on our annual calendar in order to ensure this important customer segment is kept up-to-date with the full offering of Impro’s access control solutions.”

Impro’s stand highlighted its flagship Access Portal solution, which Timmins said “comprises one of the most user-friendly software solutions on the market”. It is highly customisable, yet still easy to operate along with the company’s hardware solutions, such as its controller, as well as third-party solutions such as the Nedap long range readers and Idemia biometric readers.

A stand-out feature of the solution is its seamless integration with the different elements required in estate security. “For estates, this is particularly important as the last thing an estate manager or security manager needs is to be jumping in and out of different software packages,” he added. “Although not displayed at the event, Access Portal also integrates with CCTV, fire and intrusion systems, and we have a number of visitor and contractor management solutions that also work through the Access Portal platform.”
