The Transport and Asset Protection Association (TAPA) runs a number of courses that are a must if you are involved in any part of the logistics business, especially if you are responsible for security and risk. The TAPA standards have become more important in South Africa, especially among international brands that want to protect their products.
• FSR (Facility Security Requirements)

FSR has been established by TAPA’s security professionals within the theft sensitive industry to address the nature by which theft sensitive products are handled in facilities like warehouses. The FSR specifies the minimum acceptable security standard and the methods to be used in maintaining those standards.

TSR has been established by TAPA’s security professionals within the theft sensitive industry to address the nature by which theft sensitive products are transported over road. The TSR specifies the minimum acceptable security standard and the methods to be used in maintaining those standards.
