Safety and Health awards finalist

Wireless CCTV (WCCTV) has been named as a finalist in the Safety and Health Excellence Awards (SHE). The WCCTV body worn camera delivers live transmission of video and audio on the move. It uses 4G technology to transmit live video and GPS location information from the wearer's location back to a control room, improving situational awareness and safety.

What makes the body worn camera a finalist is that the camera includes up to 1080p at up to 30 frames per second, with all recordings capturing vital metadata such as date, time, GPS location, device number and user details to ensure evidential usage. The unit also contains inbuilt Wi-Fi to provide live video transmission and wireless downloading of footage when in range.

The functional design of body worn camera lends itself to ease of use, with a simple one-button record mechanism. Its lightweight yet durable housing is IP65 rated to protect from dust and water damage and can operate in temperatures from -20°C to +80°C.The device also has an illuminated 2.8-inch front-facing screen - proven to reduce conflict and aggression - and a 120 second pre-event recording buffer to ensure incidents are not missed. The body worn camera rechargeable battery provides an operating time of up to 17 hours in standby mode or 7 hours in full recording mode.
